A buoyant spirit of simplicity and joy has enabled the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur to respond to the changing needs of the Church. Educators and missionaries from the beginning, the Sisters treasure their heritage of prayer, vowed consecration and community as fundamental to religious life.

In their roles of service -- teaching, health care, spiritual formation, social service, and care of the aged -- the Sisters recognize that they share in a special way with all baptized Christians the call to read the signs of the times, to denounce evil by standing as beacons of hope, to live the beatitudes modeled by Jesus Christ, and to focus always in building the Kingdom of God.
