"As a Franciscan Sister, renewing and rebuilding the church is the heart of my Franciscan call, and I sure do love it! Part of my time as a woman religious is spent "planting seeds" in the hearts of the little ones about the gift of a religious vocation. The other part of my time is being a Coordinator of Adult Faith processes. They both energize me beyond words!"

The hispanic people, who live along the border of Texas, need to feel the presence of the church. The Franciscan community has chosen, therefore, to establish themselves in the rural areas surrounding Eagle Pass, Uvalde and Hondo.
