We are a 24-hour society. Our days frequently revolve around working, eating, sleeping, and spending up our ever diminishing free time. When we look at the end of our day, we want more time, or maybe just time better spent. We are so wrapped up "doing" that we aren't just "being".

There are many motivational messages in the world today that inspire giving, caring, compassion and determination. We support all of these messages, but in addition, what RECAST would like to do is help you find tangible ways to do those very things.  It's an invitation to Reach Out and in doing so to find your way to Reach In for a more fulfilling life.

About Us
RECAST was started by the Religious Communities Alive in South Texas for two reasons. First, is to update the image of people in religious life - we're not all about flying nuns or Brother Cadfael, you know. Secondly, we want to help people find their mission in their everyday lives. We are lawyers, nurses, administrators, teachers, social rights activists and more. Let us tell you about our life today.
